Dundee United will undertake five exciting pre-season friendlies throughout the summer in preparation for both the UEFA Europa Conference League and the William Hill Premiership.
Our first-team squad will reunite at the DUFC Training Centre later in June for their first session as the hard work begins in earnest ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
BRECHIN CITY V DUNDEE UNITED | SATURDAY 28 JUNE | 2PM
For the second consecutive year, the Terrors will kick-off their schedule by making the short journey up the A90 to face Brechin City on Saturday 28 June.
A stellar 2024/25 season for the Hedgemen saw them taste defeat on just two occasions in the Highland League, finishing with a staggering 82 points from 34 matches. Despite this, they were pipped to the post by Brora Rangers on goal difference, having to content themselves with a second place finish.
Ex-United midfielder and Manager Ray McKinnon will also embark on his first 90 minutes in the Glebe Park dugout when his former employers pitch up.

ARBROATH V DUNDEE UNITED | SATURDAY 5 JULY | 2PM
Seven days later, Jim Goodwin’s men will return to Angus, this time facing William Hill Championship new boys Arbroath - a match which will also act as Smoky stalwart David Gold’s testimonial.
Last term, the Gayfield outfit secured an immediate return to the second tier by storming to the League One title for the second time in their history under the guidance of player/manager Gold.
Our Championship-winning campaign saw United net 17 goals against Arbroath without reply, consequently securing their first league 'clean sweep' since defeating Aberdeen four times during 1998/99.

PEC ZWOLLE V DUNDEE UNITED | FRIDAY 11 JULY | 7PM (CEST)
An exciting joust with Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle will bring the curtain down on United’s pre-season training camp in the Netherlands on Friday 11 July.
Zwolle scalped eventual champions PSV Eindhoven on their road to a tenth-place finish in the top tier - their most successful campaign since 2017/18. Hibs striker Dylan Vente was a pivotal cog in the Blauwvingers’ wheel, grabbing 13 goals during his loan spell at the MAC3PARK Stadion.
Sportpark Bovenmolen in Oldebroek will play host to our first piece of continental action of July, whetting the appetite for forthcoming adventures in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
United fans can join the globe-trotting Terrors in Holland, with further ticketing information to be communicated with supporters in due course.
ST JOHNSTONE V DUNDEE UNITED | TUESDAY 15 JULY | 7:30PM
Upon our return to home soil, we’ll go head-to-head with St Johnstone in an all-Tayside affair at McDiarmid Park.
The three meetings between the sides in the last season saw United maintain a 100% record, with Luca Stephenson, Glenn Middleton, Sam Dalby and Emmanuel Adegboyega all finding the back of the net against the Perth Saints as their 16-year stay in the Premiership came to its conclusion.
Our trip to Perth will offer eager Arabs another chance to watch their heroes in action, with admission details set to be confirmed by the hosts in the coming days.
DUNDEE UNITED V OLDHAM ATHLETIC | SATURDAY 19 JULY | 2PM
Finally, a cross-border tussle with EFL League Two new boys Oldham Athletic rounds off thorough preparations for our return to the European stage.
Micky Mellon, who spent the 2020/21 campaign in the Tannadice hotseat, secured the sixth promotion of his managerial career in perhaps the most dramatic fashion yet, steering his side back to promised land of the EFL after three years in non-league limbo.
The Owls scored in the 110th and 112th minute of extra-time to turn the National League Play-Off Final on its head and see off Southend United at Wembley.
Our homecoming will see United supporters return to the Tannadice terraces for the first time in over two months - with tickets set to be priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Further ticketing information is currently being finalised.
